Was your only change going from 26's to 28's? If so, you have convinced me to go with 28's! Lol! Thats alot of mph you picked up!

what does taking out the front sway bar do? i can't get better than a 13.7, 1.9 60ft, 8.8 1/8th at 79, and can't get higher than 99 mph in the 1/4. i first started going last spring and trapped 101 a couple times, and now i cant ever get over 99. could a stretching, binding clutch cable be holding me back while going through the gears? when i hit 3rd and 4th i hear a strange noise when i drop the gear and it hovers around 100 mph for a second (going into 4th)

Taking off the front sway bar increases your weight transfer.

evan, what kind of mods do you have? 13.7 with a 1.9 is about identical to what i have been running now that it has cooled off a bit, but right at 100.3-100.5 mph.

i got a bassani catted x pipe, flowmaster weld-in mufflers, k&n drop in with the silencer removed, 75mm throttle body, and a c&l plenum. all season tires, 245 tires. i can';t get over 100 mph to save my life. it's like the car is quicker in the 1/4, but i'm trapping 2 mph slower than what i did in the spring. for some reason i think it's my clutch cable stretching. (i have an aftermarker cable, adjuster and quadrant from AM)

When you get a better 60' sometimes it will take a bit off of your trap speed. It also means you're probably getting better as a driver, the lower your trap speed on a given ET the more efficiently you're getting the car down the track.

Um, can I add my slip here, since most of the 4.6's here aren't doing the job?

60- 1.989
1/8th- 8.563
mph- 83.96

Yea, does anybody else feel like participation in the timeslip thread has really gone down over the past 2 years?
