There is some serious air leak in the filter to MAF coupling, or the MAF body may be damaged, or perhaps something after the MAF?

I don't see the IAT sensor, is it under the pipe after the MAF--or is there perhaps just a hole where the IAT sensor is supposed to go?

Is there a hole in the filter, or something blocking the filter's output?

i had a problem about a month ago with the idle hanging and not being responsive and it was a plenum gasket leak which caused it. I thought at first vaccuum leak or Idle control valve being dirty but it was the gasket from getting on it too much. BUt that sounds terrible

Ive got a slight hissing from my brass fittings on the intake manifold comming out causing a gap between my upper plenum and manifold(replacing the manifold tommorow). This sounds more from the intake where the filter connects to the MAF.
