Forged crank, forged or billet connecting rods, and forged, dished pistons. Then all the hardware involved. Go to MMR, they sell rotating assemblies as well as shortblocks, which might just be a better way to go anyways. Also, Eagle Specialty Products makes some pretty bangin rotating assemblies too...but they are more expensive but they are awesome.

^ Thanks, I'm not sure about a short block, I don't have the means to do that, and I'm most likely going to buy each part slowly, this will most likely be a long project. I could be lazy and just throw on a s/c with 8lbs psi, but the last thing I want to do is blow a motor cuz i took short cuts.

yea, i hear you man. if youre piecing it together as you go, find a cobra crank and then buy some billet rods and forged pistons. That'd be the budget way to go.

This guy essentially designed the modular motor, and is one of the very best mod engine builders in the country. He'll have everything you need.

I have the money for the short block, or a rotating assembly, I'm just hella stingy with my money. I like to have reserves if an emergency arises. I'm going to think about the rotating assemblies though. Sounds like less hassle to do that. Thanks guys.

Yep.........If he wants the best "Factory Stock" built engine, He's the man!
He has built Shawn Johnson's engines. Shawn / MP have more wins (2004, 2005 & 2006) and records (2004, 2005 & 2006) in NMRA Factory Stock history. Shawn is the first Back-to-Back FS Champion. Shawn’s engine was featured in the June 2007 issue of 5.0 Magazine.

John Tymensky is a great guy to deal with.
