Default magnaflow question...

well I wanted the straight through magnaflow mufflers, but not the magna packs. I did a search instead of starting a thread so people wont complain and respond with "use the search button". In an old thread I found, some posted the part number for the mufflers in the pic (im not sure if these are the right ones). I HOPE these arent going to be too loud, im running long tubes and an X. what do you guys think? I wanted the quieter ones (lol if there is such a thing), I was going for the sound found in the videos below. I actually have the same headers and X pipe as the the guy in the 1st vid

Do you have a o/r x?

The car in the second video is running Magnapacks with long tubes, and a o/r x.

There is no other straight through muffler other than the magnapack if im not mistaken because the other regular magnaflow muffler for our cars is a chambered muffler. I mean they might make that muffler in a longer form but might be tough to fit it into a catback for our cars.

check those out. would you say that the sound gets quieter with the increasing diameter of the muffler???

I'm pretty sure that magnaflow mufflers are all straight through.

I had the regular magnaflows (not the packs) and it wasn't too loud. I think I have an exhaust clip in my sig.

I've replaced Flowmasters w/ Magnaflows,(straight thru) to quiet the horrible highway drone, on a couple of my rides. It cost $ experiment. My Stang still has Flows on it, from when I bought it. I also have a couple different Magna's in storage. I can see straight thru those also....

thats what i thought as well, I emailed magnaflow asking if the mufflers on their catback (not magnapack) were straight-through and he replied they were, just with more packing inside compared to the magnapack.

Then someone might want to tell magnaflow to tell AM to change their website saying that the regular magnaflow mufflers are chambered.
