i have the vortech mini and its not that loud. when i let off or shift gears in high rpm it sounds great but if you want straight loud, then the procharger one is the one you want.

you want a blow off valve (and youll need a blow through maf), bypass valves don't vent to atmosphere.

Procharger Pro-Flo is loud and sounds just like a BOV. I loved mine. Say goodbye to the little chirping bird under the hood! LOL

And you can use a bypass valve just like a BOV, just don't connect it to anything on the discharge side they do the same thing, just with a bypass, you have the option to connect it and have it nice and quiet.

You will nedd to run a "blow thru" setup, but you can use the same maf you have, just run it in a "blow thru" configuration.

The bypass valve has two sides. The side that is connected to the intercooler/blower piping (under pressure), and it relieves the pressure by opening and venting the pressurized air back into the intake tube through the other side of the valve. Inside it basically looks like a throttle body with a butterfly that can open to allow air to pass through it.

When running a blow thru maf setup, you can choose not to connect the valve back to the intake tube. That way it vents to the atmosphere instead of back into the intake tube. Same thing the BOV does, but you have the option to run it regularly if you ever get tired of the loud venting.
