Default Looking for my first Mustang

First timer here and looking into buying my first Mustang, I was looking at this one and was wondering if I could get any feedback and if I go take a look at it what kind of things I should look out for?
2002 Ford Mustang GT Deluxe
57,028 Miles for $10,499
Also what is the difference in a normal GT and the Deluxe?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome! Where in MI are you?

$10,500 for 57k is a bit high IMO.

I think the premium is basically a slightly upgraded version of the deluxe. Things like leather seats, upgraded stereo, etc.

location has a lot to do with the price of a car. i got my 04 GT in NH for $8K with 32K mi. cloth seats, no Mach stereo(regular one), 5 speed, CAI, Magnaflow catback and lowered a tad. soooo basically stock.

it looks like a straight car. ask about previous owners and ages...see if it was beat on. check if the clutch is not worn out by driving it. right off the bat the exhaust tips need to be fixed. look under see why they are messed up.

but deff shop around. mustangs are everywhere. people will always ask more than they are really worth because of the car it is. unless it is highly modified. just do your homework and dont be a sucker for whatever they tell you.

goodluck

Yeah I was defiantly going to offer less seeing as KBB had it retail for $9,205 but I always like to hear reassurance.

Thanks for the advice so far.

And I am live in the East Lansing area mrtstang

I went to Cars.com and found this one for $8,995 and there is a coupon for another $500 off plus Leather Upholstery. But it has 69,643 miles

So would the lower price worth the extra 12,000 miles?
