Default 18x9s and 18x10s on lowered '03 GT

Happy Monday...UGHH. I just got off the phone with OEW.com. I was going to order 18x9 Bullitt wheels for the front and 18x10s for the rear. Their tire package comes with 275-35 for the front and 315-35 for the rear. But, since I lowered my '03 GT with Eibach Pro-Kit springs, they can't guarantee the clearance. If anyone has gone with this combo(w/the Eibachs), please let me know how it worked out? Also, if you have any pictures of your Mustang with 18s and this tire set up, please post them. I'd like to see how those size tires look on those rims. Thank you. BOB

You would want a 315/30 on the rear instead of a 35.

If running the correct tires sizes, there should not be any more of an issue rubbing with 18's then with 17's. The overall diameter is the same.

^ agreed.

I would also recommend you go no more than 305's for a proper fit of tire on wheel. With that said, you will be able to fit them, but probably need a bit of "massaging" of the rear wheel wells to clear. You may also need to rotate (possibly remove) the quad-shock to avoid rubbing as well. This can be removed anyway, but would be best to get some good aftermarket LCA's to avoid wheel hoppe.

I have the following setup:

- H&R Super Sport Springs
- 18x9 & 18x10 Saleen Replicas
- 275/35 & 315/30

And I have NO issues with clearance.

Though one thing worth nothing, I have michellon pilot sports which tend to run a bit smaller in size than most tires.

Well I'm running 295/35/18 in the rear on an 18x10 rim with the eibach drop. There is NO problem here what so ever. I was running 315/30/18 in the rear. They fit fine with no bulging bit I wanted more side wall and the ones I have are a tad bit bigger. Do it man. There will be no problem of you stay with a 30 side wall if you want 315s..

Look in my profile to see mine, I have H&R SS springs with 275/35/R18s and 295/35/R18s. I don't seem to have any issues but I havent really been able to take it out either but everything clears. Its advertised 1.75" drop in the front and I can turn the wheel from all the way locked and back the other way too with around I don't a 1/2" or so. I havent been able to take it out and see how it is on the road but I dont think Ill have rubbing, just exhaust hangs low with lt's.

Thanks so much fellas. I guess I'll be going 295-35 on the rear and 265-35 on the front. Not sure on the fronts yet but, the rear is where I was worried about rubbing issues. I just want more bulge without the heavy looking profile. And I also like the profile higher in the back than in the front. Thank you all again...BOB
