Exclamation what mod should i get for $1500 ??

ok so Im only 17 and and have to pay my cars insurance, car payments, and gas so it takes me some time to save up=/ so by the end of summer, some money i should have left over will be around $3000-$4000
i dont want to exceed $1500 but will go up to $2000 if i need to.
i dont think i wanna supercharge the car yet, cause thats continuous money after the sc is bought... and i will never use nos. so help me out guys!!
i think i would like to cam and port the heads. but im not sure if ill be able to do that myself?=/ seems like a job for an experienced person, the headers were hard enough... so how much would that run me at a shop??

How about gears and a tune to start? I don't see either of those in your sig.

porting the heads, having them installed, buying cams, having them installed will cost you well over your $1,500 mark. I have not had those things installed on my car, but I would think that would cost you somewhere around $3-4k (someone correct me, I am just figuring on about 2-2.5k for parts and another 1k for install

I see nothing about gears in your sig. Get gears, you will not regret it one bit. If it is a stick, I would recommend a short throw. And with any money left over you could buy a few suspension goodies like subframe connectors and/or lower control arms.

If there is nothing, cosmeticly, wrong with the car. I would do gears and suspension stuff first. Depending on what your future plans for the car, it's always nice when your car handles better.

Mine too, in maybe a year or so. i just hope all the links still work and all... writeups usually dont last a few years with 100% of the links in tact. and its almost impossible to get a hold of the OP after a few years cause sometimes they just drop off the face of the earth
