Default Purchased a set of Saleen wheels!

yep, bought em on ebay for 946. shipped. they shipped them out today, should be here by friday or saturday with 4 day shipping!

some of you may have seen my other thread on the saleens but i figured id post this to let everyone know :P

Saleen Wheel Replicas, Polished Aluminum (sexy) 5 spoke wheel. Maxxis ma-z1 tires 265-35-18

All four wheels are 18x9. didnt have the money to get 18x10s in the rear even though I REALLY wanted 18x10s.. sad face.

but overall im happy, and if i dont like the 18x9, ill sell the set and buy 18x10 or get a 1.5 inch wheel spacer.

Pics:

im extremely excited, i think im more excited for these wheels than the day i bought the car. I knew when i bought the car, it wasn't exactly what i wanted but i had plans for it and its becoming a reality very quickly!

Chrome...good choice!

These would be my second choice--after '03-'04 Termi Wheels!

ahah ive never seen someone get so stuck/worked up over buying wheels. i remember reading long posts of your thought process over wheels and your dilema with the craigslist guy.

my decision was easy. i know i was gonna go FR500's but between the anthricite and black. glad you find some tho, they will give the car a whole diff look, i know mine do.

congrats!

I think chrome > polished aluminum... The finish you chose is very tough to keep up with... We actually sprayed my buddies polished aluminum saleens black and he bought chrome saleens for summer... Hopefully this is what you wanted. They will still look great.. You just need to keep up with them quite often
