x to smooth it out? x is supposed to be more raspy then the h, which is why i wanna try the Hpipe. but if u want i have a o/r bbk x ill switch ya maybe...

Or maybe its just the mufflers themselves, they could be raspy with everything?

It really just deponds but x's arent alwasy more raspy then H's. Yours didnt sound that raspy. Alot of people think that x's are good with straight threw mufflers and h or better with chambered mufflers. The O/R H is not mine it was a friends of mine I just borrowed it to see what it would sound like. I had a catted H on it and it was kinda of quiet. How long and how much louder do these mufflers get once broke in?

Yea bullitt ur car is def loud haha...but i really like the deep tone...i think ill be happy with a catted h and the adrenalines/terminators. As both of you have said...both mufflers are RASPY w/ an o/r midpipe.

noroofonthecoupe, i dont really know why one makes more power than the other or more torque than the other, but x pipes are usually better in the upper rpm range and make more power and the h pipes are more for the lower end and make more torque. Its proven on many setups, but i have no idea why they are the way they are.
