Default Summer wheel burnouts....

Hey guys, last fall before I swapped my summer wheels for my winter shoes, I did a burnout contest with one of my friends with another mustang. So needless to say I have two good tires and two pancakes on my summer setup right now. For some reason, I just can't justify buying new tires right now because I know I am going to drive the hell out of them all while I am desperate to swap my summer set back on. Anyone feel the same?

Are all of you buying new tires for this summer? I really want to pickup a set of used tires to be able to drive on for 2 or 3 months to have fun on without having to spend 500+ on two tires for 90 days of driving.

Im buying new tires right now for my summer setup. But my summer setup wont come off til late october/early november whenever it starts getting really cold outside. What size wheels do you have on the back??? Are they the 9's, or 10's/10.5's???

Right now I currently have 18x9's all the way around but main reason why I don't want to buy new is because I want to get some saleen 18x10.5's and put some fat 315's on the back

currently all the way around I have 275 35 18's

just save and get those then. for the summer, i'd just get something really temporary, no Z rated or anything just like a couple 60 dollar tires to **** around on. haha

Just buy 2 new tires that you can then use on the front of the car when you get the 10.5's and then when the ones that are on the front now wear out you can then sell the 2 wheels and put that money towards the new 10.5's and 315's. Thats the way id do it at least.

Im in the air whether I buy this set of used big n littles from my friend (the rims/tires on my pic in the sig actually lol) or just get 2 555Rs for the stock wheels.

But yea anyway just get 2 cheapo tires or find someone selling a set. doesnt have to be from a Mustang. My buddy has "corvette" tires on his car he got for dirt cheap

http://www.stage3motorsports.com/pro...-Concepts.html

They are advertised as a 10.5" width wheel but they are 10.2 inches actually. And i might suggest to you that 315 30 18's are expensive as hell. You might want to keep it to 295 35 18's or 305 35 18's because there are pretty much only competition tires for 315 30 18's.
