I am saying its not fast . 365hp/400tq is not at the wheels, which means I probably have around 80rwhp on it along with 70rwtq. I would walk all over that car in a race. Don't get me wrong. Its a beautiful car, just not all that fast.

You're comparing your car which has a lot of mods, to a car that is FACTORY. If you added those same mods to the Saleen, it would walk all over your car.

Dave, nothing a smaller pulley, intake, 75mm tb and tune can't handle to make it faster.

Pretty sure it wouldn't considering a Saleen is just a Mustang GT with a body kit and suspension. It would run exactly like mine does. I am not saying they aren't beautiful or respectable cars, but i am saying that 365 BHP is not all that impressive.

Same here.. A Saleen is just a GT with an ugly body kit and some have a roots blower on it.. nothing to write home about. And your also right about 365 not being all that fast its only 310 at the wheels..and thats being generous.

I believe I am a pretty good driver, but so does everybody else. I do need to get a pair of tires so I can actually see how good of a driver I am. Right now, it doesn't matter how good my suspension is because I am on street tires that in a 1/4 mile race just can't hook up. I know a couple of guys locally that I may be able to borrow their tires so I can at least make a solid attempt to get into the 11's.

You would keep up, at best.

Roots>centrifugal

They uped the specs in 2003/2004 to 375hp/415trq. Throw a pulley on it with a tune and you're really not very far from the stock terminator "actual factory hp rating" of 430-435hp (as we all know the 390 was underrated), so I don't really see how they're not "impressive". Sorry, I definitely think they're fast and with a few mods you can easily bump it up over 425+ crank/360whp.
