I am looking to replace the exhaust on my stock daily driver 03 GT and certainly would like to pickup some performance and nice sound but I'm concerned about highway drone. I'm told that Flowmasters will get to me after a while and MagnaFLows would be better. Then there's the DynoMAx VTs. Any recommendations?

My MagnaFlow have no drone but not as much deep low sounds that I like. Overall 7/10

Ive got borla stingers and i have no drone on the highway at all.

+1 on the borla stingers

and esp with a pro-chamber mid pipe, you have have no drone at all and it will still scream when you get on it.

I've had both SSS Terminators and Adrenalines, and neither have had any noticeable drone.

I'm running o/r x and regular magnaflow muffler catback and I get some drone at 2K rpm...

I have an 04 GT with stock gears and that equates to 75mph at 2K rpm there is drone. 70mph it's fine. and 80mph it's a noisy due to the exhaust sound and going that fast.

agreed on not getting Flowmasters. I love mine but the drone on the highway just blows. If I could buy a new catback system today it'd be a Magnaflow Magnapack.
