Decided on final combo for S/C upgrade, opinions wanted
Hi all,
I decided on my bolt on combo to compliment my 1998 V-1 install. I just wanted to run it past everyone one last time before finalizing with my mechanic. I will list the bolt on and my predicted rwhp gain for each one, pls correct up or down if needed.
I am using these figures to calc my rwhp with the V-1
PI manifold - 18hp
TB/Plenum - 5hp
X and catback - 10hp
HP from tune - 15hp (dyno tune)
------
48hp
1998 GT - 195rwhp
Now I add that to the 195hp the car has = 243rwhp
Now calc for boost - 243 x 6% = 14.5
14.5 x 10psi = 145
145 + 243 = 388
Approx 388rwhp is what I'm coming up with. Sound about right? Any comments welcome.
Also I do have blower cams, but I dont want over 400hp, so they will not go in......yet.
I will be talking to the mechanic around Wed. to schedule the work.
