Default I'm back guys

Ok i had a hault on my motor swap, i was around halfway through it when i went to the doctor to have something checked out turned out i had an umbillical hernia and they had to operate, well that screwed me for a while so now its been about 3 months without my mustang and i took it to my uncles shop and hes finishing it up for me and then itll be up for sale. That car has been nothing but bad luck since i bought it. So since then i purchased a 99 jeep grand cherokee and my new toy a 93 mustang hatch its a 4cyl and im trying to figure out how to make this thing a beast but i have absoulutely no clue how to go about this because i spent all my time toying with new edge mustangs. Could anyone give me any info on this car, is it a 7.5 rear end and if so should i just build it up and whats the best way to go about building this thing its gonna be a strictly fun car.

2.3 car? if its a 5spd the trans is weak as toothpicks. The rear will pop with any type of tire on it. And I believe the 2.3s are good for about 88hp. You could swap in a supercoupe motor... or just 5.0 it

Well if you want carbureted, go with a punched out windsor, maybe a 351. But a 5.0 stock block with forged internals, cam, head swap, intake and turbo would net you a 600hp frikain monster...but there are a billion ways to go. Def post this is the Fox section this is a super common build.

You can go to a junkyard and snag a 2.3 tunderbird turbocoupe motor or a 2.3 turbo and go that route. Rebuild your stock 2.3 with forged lower compression parts and ull be roasting minor bolt on gts.

Or you can get an 8.8, 5.0 k member, get a 5.0 t-5 or swap the components in your 2.3 t-5 to accept the 5.0, and snag a cheap 5.0 and rebuilt it. make sure u get the 5.0 cluster and thats about it. toss a carb on it and you wont have to deal with the fuel crap and computer.

Do it right, the V8 can be swapped in, as well as a 8.8 in place of the crappy 7.5 Check out the link in my sig, my car was a 4 cylinder to 8 conversion.

Remember to swap control arms and springs ect.
