Default New 12 sec N/A 2v club member!!!!

I know I listed my time in the 2010 timeslip thread, but I don't care, I'm damn excited!!! I was runner up in my lane for the bracket racing event at my local track tonight. But the serious good news is I finally got into the 12s with my N/A 2v!!!!!!! I can't describe how excited I am especially considering there is a bit of room for improvement given my 60ft times. I can definitely say I drove it like I stole it tonight!!!!

12.88 @ 109.45 MPH

My previous best was 13.01 @ 109.80 with a 1.822 60ft. I think my driving is just getting a bit better especially in the shifting department. I have installed coilovers since then, but my 60ft only improved by .015 which doesn't make up for the ET difference.

Once I get my new Diff installed and stop sporadic one legging issues, hopefully I can cut in the low 1.7s and get down around 12.5ish

How much does your car weigh? That a very low et and high mph for 271hp. My car was dynoed at 325whp and I run the same time, but my car with me in it weighs 3,600

Car weighs about 3375 with me in it. The 271 could be higher since it was done on a mustang dyno. But given my trap speed and my 60ft, my car should be capable of running sub 12.5 with the power I am making if I can knock the 60 down to the 1.6 range.

Makes sense 300 pounds more is 3 tenth of second and I am running an automatic with a stock stall my 60's are 1.97 there is another 2 tenths. If you figure 10 hp per tenth of a second, me being about 50 hp more it comes out pretty close.
