Default $1200 Suspension Budget

So Im finding my rear suspension is getting pretty saggy and im looking to lower my car instead of replacing my suspension with stock crap... That being said my car is my DD and an occasional track car (Autocross, Road Racing). Im more interested in turning rather than a drag type setup honestly but Id like something thats a good overall suspension. I do live in Seattle so some roads around here suck *** but i can avoid them most of the time or just refuse to drive there

Sooo something adjustable like strange ten ways or tockikos would be cool but with my crap budget im not expecting the top of the line. It seems that Springs,Struts,CC plates, New Spring isolaters, are all a must should i be considering sway bars? Or upper and lower control arms a better route on top pf the mods above?

ok, here is what im going to suggest. this was actually the setup i was gonna do if i was on a budget this summer.

1. MM FLSFC's
2. Bilstein HD's
3. H&R SS springs or Race springs
4. MM C/C plates.

That should get you right around your goal of $1200 for suspension and it will handle a lot better than stock, but ride will be sacrificed but the stance will be sick!!! then after that you can add sway bars and eventually you can upgrade to coilovers and sell the lowering springs because the bilsteins are coilover ready and you already have the c/c plates needed to run coilovers. So there is my suggestion. I put a lot of time into researching and with some help from Jazzer, the suspension guru, I came up with that setup and I think that will work very very well for you. But with the suspension, you also have to do good tires to take full advantage of your new suspension. good luck man, let me or jazzer know if we can be of any assistance.

I like everything in the sport box but the shocks and struts. I'd call and ask how much it would be to upgrade to the bilstein HD's. it would probably be $300 more, but the HD's are better than the Tokicos that come in the sport box in my opinion. I mean they are $300 more for a set for a reason...they are a better damper.

www.maximummotorsports.com...the only people besides griggs that i would do business with for suspension products. they have a lot to offer and a lot of good information too if you want/need more info on anything mustang-suspenion related.
