So lately ive been piecing together everything I need to have a complete Vortech kit.

So far I have everything needed except the injectors and MAF, which I will be getting in a couple of days. I am not going to be doing the install, but the shop that will be doing it quoted me a price of $300-500 depending on how the install goes. (it would be a bit more than 300 if i had forgotten one or two things or they needed to modify something to fit). then I got a quote for $400-500 for the dyno tune. (I just forgot what it was exactly).

So my question is, does this sound like a reasonable price for them to do the install? Another shop quoted me 1200 for the install and dyno tune, so it sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

Ya its a good price I paid quite a bit more for my install when they built the motor. Its a good price

Probably house of boost in kansas city. they've got some pretty sick cars there.

Wow that seems like a pretty cheap price. I mean considering you can get charged that much for just going in for routine maintenance at some shops. Either way, good luck. And post pics when its done

Yeah, the guy i bought the blower from is hooking me up with a bunch of good parts cheap from his cobra that he's parting out. and the fact that his buddy works for procharger.
and yeah, ill be sure to post some pics and numbers when its done.
