I somehow blew the 5th/reverse part of my t45. It gets stuck in 5th/r and is incredibly hard to get out, and once it's out, the shifter is hard to move around and put in any other gear. It eventually frees up until I put it in 5/r again.

What does this sound like to you guys? Thanks in advance

that is a known problem with these transmissions. They make updated parts and there are quite a few transmission shops that are capable of applying this fix.
