They sound like complete garbage as a combo. Do a quick youtube search. This topic is about as flogged as "are 4.10s to big for my *****?"

Hell no, I had muffler deletes when I had my stock H pipe with only front 2 cats (rears removed by previous owner) so essentially a catted H and straight pipes....sounded like a damn truck, aka like craaaaaaap. That setup was on my car for a week. Put it on one weekend, took it off as soon as I could, the following weekend. Just because an exhaust is loud does NOT mean it will sound badass.

Now I have o/r x and magnapacks. It is loud but refined in comparison to LM1's.

Well going with LM1 is essentially straight pipe....they have no packing or baffles inside them. So if you really want that sound, have some muffler delete pipes bent up for cheap, but it will sound horrible.

Other wise look into Magnapacks/LM2's/SSS Adrenaline's. They are all straight through design mufflers but on the more mellow tone.

Note: I use "mellow" VERY loosely. All the mufflers I mentioned with any o/r pipe will be loud, but all the while actually sounding like a mustang lol and not some big *** dump truck with a rotting off exhaust.
