Default Next 2 big Mods coming soon

Well I have been doing alot of overtime at work. So with next check coming with 32 hrs of overtime I will be able to buy my next two big mods.. I will be buying the FRPP hot rod cam and the FRPP 4.10 gears

I have a guy who will install them for a good price. But he said that he can't dyno tune it. So I heard an emil tune will work just fine with this set up..

Email tune will not suffice. And don't get frpp cams, get the comp cams. My friends car with those sounds freakin sweet and makes awesome power. Frpp cams are probably weaker than most. But even if you go with those cams, get a real tune.

Everyone I talked to said that the FRPP cam is more consistent than the comp cam..

FRPP cams are very weak. Get CMS cams.

They give out about the same horse power than the comp cam.. I heard good things and bad things on them. But also the same as the comp cam the good and the bad

He's got a 3v, so yea you can get an email tune but you wont get the max power from it

For a street driven DD, the FRPP's will be fine. Do they give the MAX allowable power for cams? No. But do they give nice power and sound completely bad ***? Yes. :-)

The cams i was suggesting the OP get are the cams you have Franchi. And you need a dyno tune to get all the variable cam timing down perfect.

Yeah, the Thumpr's are pretty bad ***, I will admit. :-) I know the Comp are notoriously picky about the timing with the phase limiters which is why I had Brenspeed dyno tune mine but I have read that the Hot Rods a easier to tune since they work with the VCT?
