Default Wheel/tire opinions

Well I'm planning to grab some 18x9 and 18x10. Cruizin Concepts is doing a package deal with 255/14 and 295/35 Nitto INVO's for $1408 shipped. AM with same wheels and 275/35 and 285/35 Nitto NT555's would come to $1493.

I want the INVO's but CC doesn't offer them in the 275 up front lol. On my past 17x9 wheels from AM I was running a 275. I was thinking that a 255 on a 9" wheel is a little on the small side.

Anyone have pics of the 255 and 295 setup?

Thanks a lot guys, I'm looking to order these within a couple days....basically as along as it takes to convince me the sizes are OK lol.

I would reccommend that you go with AM.. I've heard some horror stories about CC, not answering emails, or phone calls. Might be an isolated incident but I think for the peace of mind that you will get ordering from AM is worth the extra 85 bucks. Just my opinion..

Well aside from that, I liked the Nitto INVO's tread pattern a lot, and they are NOT directional tires (a plus). AM only offers the NT555 or sumitomo's which are both directional (not a fan of the sumitomo's tread). If I went with NT555's from CC they have it as a 245/40 for the fronts (I think would look VERY stretched on a 9" wheel) and 285 rears.

Plus AM gives you a 275 series front but only a 285 series rear(boo)...I want the wider rear of 295 from CC...LOL see my dilemma?

Ohh AM is GREAT with that. I had ordered a set of wheels/tires from them before and was awesome....but WITH the shipping from CC, they are still cheaper.

dont forget if you are a true member on here you get a small discount form AM...

but that aside, buy the rims separate from the tires... unless you NEED to have them from the same place for simplicity.

It is not NEEDED to get them from the same place. but then it's $15 or so to have them mounted at some shop...

Anyone have a pic of a 18x9 with a 255 tire on it? Once I see it and looks A-OK then I'm going to call CC tomorrow and make a game plan.

Kugzgt: How does a 245 look on a 9"....they look normal on a stock 7" starfish but I don't think I would like to stretch them out to a 9"

ive bought a few things from CC with no issues. they can be a lil slow sometimes in responding, but they will get back to you and will take care of you. havent gotten wheels or tires though, so maybe those incidents are different but id doubt it. if u like the invos, why not go for it? sorry cant offer any pics of those sizes though.
