If you're already losing traction at your current power levels, what do you think will happen if you add another 100hp?

As soon as you put a good tire under the car, it will be a fast track to pointing out your next weakest link in your setup. Tires are a good option, but certainly not the only piece of the puzzle.

Hmmmm, how can I put this....? If ya want a fun lil scoot on the street. ***WE DO NOT CONDONE STREET RACING ON MUSTANG FORUMS*** Like I said, "fun little scoot on the street" the Zex kit will be fun no doubt and you WILL enjoy it. However, if you are any where serious about really laying down some #'s GO WITH SUSPENSION. Like others have posted...all the power in the world is useless if you can't put it on the ground. Just my .02

Everyone saying "what will happen if you add 100hp," a 100 shot doesn't add 100hp. Also, HP alone doesn't determine how much traction he will have.

I would put a d/r in the rear, lca's, and coil over the front with an adjustable strut.

A 100hp shot of nitrous is never a true 100hp hit. Typically with a 100 shot, you'll see a 80-85hp increase.

Nitrous makes torque. If you're hitting the car with 100hp jets, you're adding over 100ftlbs of torque.

Also, HP doesn't move a car, torque does. You could have a 700hp car making 150ftlbs, and your launch traction issues would be out the window.

Suspension...but first build your rear end. You hook, you're gonna snap your axles. Then you're not moving period! It's kinda mind boggling how everyone went this far in this thread without one mention of doing a 31 spline swap...

After the 31 spline swap do suspension. Once you get both of those done, you can then feel free to launch the fack out of the car and you'll be in the low 13's for sure. Also 4.10's might be advised as well.

you can 5k clutch drop an 8.8 on drag radials without going to a 31 spline set-up. for a car making ~350rwhp 28 spline will be fine. look at dimebag, he launches at 5500 drops on a radial and sprays it.
