Ok, since the wife was on board about the 5.0 I decided to run down to the dealership and check it out. They had several so I picked a 6 speed. Nothing fancy on the outside or inside. The car does have some nice power and it is smooth, but the style was flat and interior was no different then any other new car. It did not seem like a "sports" car. My 03' seems more like a sports car then this did and has more style IMO. I would be better off finding a low mileage Cobra. Just my 2 cents, thought I would share my experience.

i would pick an '03 cobra over a 5.0 imo. but if you do not like it then don't buy one, as it might just become like your ss lol.

Wow..wasn't expecting that. I think if you made it a lil louder itd be a lil better...i mean a stock 99-04 gt doesn't feel too sporty either lol.

BUt i mean most of us haven't even driven one so you know more then we do haha.

I just can't get over...Full exhaust, CAI, tune...425hp!!! Thats insane!

i've drove a manual and an auto from my work and they feel much much more tame than a 99'-04. mainly cause they just seem to handle/grip the road better, you don't feel like you're going fast at all. you can feel the power for sure, but when you set cruise at 85, it feels like you're doing 45. but i agree that i think an exhaust would help with that.

Dont they have that ****ing silly noise dampening **** in the interior or whatever? And that wussy air intake pipe or whatever. I would demand that they take that crap off of mine before they even drive it up to me if I was buying one new.

That was just the 2010 with the 4.6. The 5.0 doesn't have/need it.

OP did you test one with the Track Pack? I've heard that thats a better drive than a 5.0 without it.

You make it sound like 425hp is alot lol, it really is int that much.
