At what RPM do you guys shift at on flat land while cruising. I usually shift at 2000 or 2200 but I've seen a few threads were guys a bogging at those speeds. I can go into a turn at 2k and swing the *** around if I stomp it so bogging is not an issue. My car has a K&N filter, silencer delete and flowmaster mufflers.

With 4.10 gears I short shift first gear at 2000 rpms then shift at 2500rpms when just crusin and I get passed all the time in town but when i floor it I can usually catch up and pass them back really fast. There is a spot on my way home from work that I usually let her sing to 5000 rpms or so for 2nd and 3rd gear, a few times a week.
I do my best to keep it under 3k. I find myself getting passed off the lights a lot tho. If I get passed by a Honda or something like that, I have to grab a gear and take the lead back.

Do you have stock gears?
Yeah I've got stock gears, I was just wondering because I saw a thread on the forum were a guy was bogging at 2k but my car feels just fine pulling 2k on up and really sinks you in your seat at 3k on up. I've heard that with 4.10s it's like that from 2k up. How's the mpg with the 4.10? Everyone tells me not to fear the gear.
