Default Newest update on the build

Well, last time around I was having ptv contact on my CMS stage 3 blower cams, so I had to swap the cams out. Swapped the cams for custom grind bullet racing cams, had my cams line bored, and started putting everything back together. Here is how she sits now. Should be all degreed/timed come early next week, then I'll start setting up the 8 rib pulley setup...other than that just little stuff and then the motor should be good to go in the car:

How did you get PTV with CMS stage 3 blower cams? I installed mine straight up and had no contact at all. Those look like cloyes hex adjust gears. Sure hope you got them after they fixed the problems with them.

Just out of curiousty how long did it take you to get in touch with the dude at 6061.com or intakeelbows.com? I sent him 2 emails a couple weeks ago wanting to buy one for my edelbrock and I've heard nothing from him. Your build looks nice man, I'm looking forward to seeing what it puts down.

Jim over at VT told me I shouldnt have PTV contact w/ the stage 3 blower cams...when I tried degreeing I was getting solid contat, couldnt even degree let alone see if I had enough clearance. I spoke w/ Bullet Racing and Nick at MHS and gave them the specs, and both told me well yeah...with stock pistons/valves you will have major ptv with those cams if degreed properly. So that was the problem, got custom grind blower cams from Bullet racing and everything is perfect now, i even have .060 clearance.

I actually just sent aaron the payment to his paypal, and he emailed me like 2 days later confirming all my shipping info. Probably took about a week to receive all together, but it is an awesome piece

thanks for the compliments guys, I'm expecting to be in the 550-600rwhp range through the built auto/high stall
