Opinions from you guys who have owned these different cars. I'm selling the GTO to get into autocross and road racing. HP is not a concern right now since I want to learn car control and be a better driver. Looking into:
93-95 GT/Cobra
99-04 GT (except "terminators")
01/02 Camaro SS
Will be a street/track car, something that I can go out and beat on then take to work the next day. I like the idea of 93-95 GT's for the 5.0 pushrod motors I can learn to dive into if needed. I like the 99-04 GT's for the more pleasurable interiors. 01/02 Camaros appeal to me for LS motors and cheap aftermarket like 99-04 GT's.
I think 93-95's will be the "cheapest" option to buy and mod. Motor work will be last with any option...everything will be suspension/brakes/safety stuff (helmet, race seat, harness)

^It's all the same to me compared to a 99-04 GT. It's just people will ask more for a Bullitt. 50K mi GT will be prob $3K cheaper than a 50k mi Bullitt. In which case I can use the $3K for suspension mods that would rival the Bullitt.
Same as a 99/01 Cobra...I'm not WOW'd by the fact it's a Cobra, just another 4V motor. It's finny how much some people think their cars are worth. Since I'm not power hungry, I'm happy with a plain 'ol GT.
But to answer your question, no I have not, I actually forgot about them lol. I would buy one if it was in my price range for what I'm willing to pay.
I'm leaning toward a 95 GT/Cobra for the 5.0 motor with cheaper parts IF I had to fix motor stuff. 95 GT can be had with sub 100k mi for $5-7K.

Whatever car I get will have the rear seat deleted and driver seat swapped for a race seat. If the SFC's are like those on the Mach 1, then they suck LOL I'll go full welded FLSFC's
I'll be modifying enough that the only thing I care about it a solid frame and motor.

Anyone post this link here yet? It's the spy footage of the 2015 mustang with audio sound of the exhaust. ...which sounds like crap.
