running untuned to shop?
did the vortech install and got her running. would I be okay if i drove untuned up to the shop? its about 5-7 miles away. staying out of boost of course. I also have 3 tunes 93 octane performance, 93 octane n20 tune, and a 87 octane economy tune. what would be the best one to put on for the drive? also its an auto and the shift points are turned up on the 93 perfomance tune so it might be hard staying out of boost cause it shifts so high up.

The shiftpoints set in your tune should only be affected at WOT. Otherwise, t should go according to partial throttle shift schedule. Either way, as long as you keep it out of boost or even near it, you will be fine. Keep it at 1/4 throttle or less just to be safe.

If you go into boost for any amount of time you are risking damaging
your shortblock (drive it at your own risk!).I recommend having a local
reputable towing company tow your mustang to the shop to have your
car tuned.Remember a towing bill is cheaper than having to purchase
a new shortblock or new internals.

guy that drove his 99 GT for 12 miles after he installed his Paxton Novi 1K
untuned and he went into boost and damaged his internals. He ended up
having to purchase a brand new shortblock.Get your mustang towed and
avoid the misery!

What? it takes almost nothing to stay out of boost with a centri. Jesus, just don't go more than 20% throttle and you'll be fine.
Dont worry about what these guys are saying. as long as you have 93 octane in the tank, and drive carefully there, ie NO boost, you're good.

Well, remember, the MAF is capapble of registering how much air is going in. if you're not under boost, and not at 0 vacuum, there should be very little change to amount of incoming air.
it's only under partial throttle when you're at or above 0 vacuum where the fuel trim needs to be changed.
