I love Trans Ams, but if you want a 2v mustang over it then the new edges are perfect (I recommend a DSG mustang ). Pics of the current ride ?

Yea i mean my buddies 01 SS has over 160k miles on it and its still looks/runs/feels great. Solid car. And yea ik my dads car has 20k miles on it but EVERY car tends to fall apart w/ normal wear and tear so thats not real fair comparison.

5.5 is about what a 99-04 does stock, 0-60

So, 215-220 horses going to the wheels equals 0-60 in 5.5?

Well guys, 5.5 seconds isn't what I'd call slow. Infact, I probably won't mod it at all (maybe an exhaust and k&n air filter, for maintenance purposes). Is it good stock(ish)?

I mean, it's okay stock. But really, spend about 500 bucks or so, give it some exahust and gears, and you'll be good to go.

I've driven an automatic GT stock before, and it's not like ...slow. It's just not very fast at all. An auto and a manual in these cars make a difference

Just get an offroad midpipe, short throw, 4.10s/tuner, catback of your preference and you'll have a quick fun car. It won't blow the doors off everything on the road, but you'll still be able to have some good fun with it.
