Default Just got My new GEARS!!

Whats up everybody Merry Christmas !! Hope everybody got wat they wanted i sure did. I just got my 3.73's in the mail and I was thinking ill let someone else do the heavy lifting since i no longer have access to a lift. Does anyone know of a good place in the Pugeot Sound area/Seattle that I can have them installed for a reasonable price. I also got the install hardware kit from american muscle my question is with only 60k miles do i need to buy the rebuild carbon discs? My cars mostly my dd dosnt see alot of track time whatsoever. Maybe a little more this summer Anyway need this carbon discs? And where the hell should i trust some other joe to install these in seattle? ?Brads?

I would say not to worry about your carbon discs, I did 4.10's when my car had 100k on the clock and the shop told me the discs were just fine. I would recommend doing the bearings however. Merry Christmas! enjoy that new torque! Gears were my favorite mod out of the handful of bolt ons I did.

Merry Xmas! I would recommend getting a quote from The Mustang Shop. Its located off of West Valley Highway in the Auburn area. They do good work and quoted me the cheapest price out of all the places i checked. Check them out www.themustangshop.com

What brand did you go with? Richmond, Motive, FRPP? Also I would highly reccommend a repuitable shop putting them in. I had my 410's put in about a year and half ago and always heard a sound when I was driving (it wasn't the whine sound). Once I installed the LCA's the sound was amplified by 20. Took it to the local ford dealership had them look at and they told me that the guy who installed my gears did a really bad job. Cost: 954 bucks to get it fixed. 373's are a really good gear. Congrats dude and let us know if you can inch a little closer to your friend with the Evo...

+1 Its def better to pay a little more for a repuitable shop when it comes to a gear install because it can easily become a disaster.
