So you were worried about rubbing with a 17x10.5 rear wheel with a stock suspension? LOL Someone didn't do any research before buying the wheels they have now...

Unless you are slammed, you will be fine with 10.5's. It is THE most common wheel setup on these cars. 17x9 w/ 275's front 17x10.5 315's rear.

But lower it first, then look into wheels. Staggered wheels on stock suspension still looks funny.

I don't mean to sound like a d!ck, but this topic is one of the most common...right after "What exhaust should I get?"

If you can swing it, go with 18's....they look much better for thee cars:

Mine with 17x10.5's:

Mine with 18x10's:

you're a dip$hit.

but yeah, get some springs on that car. the wide tires won't look that cool when its riding that high.

^Riding with wide tires definitely doesn't look so good, hence why I will be lowering the car this spring.

I currently don't rub on stock with my 315's. The only thing I would take out if you have rubbing are the quad shocks which was where my rubbing took place. I removed them that day when the tires went on.

From what I have read and seen most new edge owners don't have rubbing issues with the quad shocks. It's with the top of the fender and the outside of the tire, and that usually happens when you are lowered a decent amount.

I was lowered about 1.25" with my 17x10.5" rear and no issues in those pics.

I'm wearing 315's right now. No rolled fenders. No rubbing issues. Oh I have 275's up front as well. Again, no rubbing or rolled fenders.

Unfortunately I'll have to put my stock wheels on soon enough seeing as though it's currently my daily driver. And putting 'cheap' tires on a pretty 10 1/2" wheel is just a no-no. So consider the cost of replacing your rubbers with a staggered car when the time comes.

I got 295's on the rear, and it looks sick. Don't know if I would go with anything larger or not seeing how mine were 250 a piece.
