Is there a difference between the brake kits for the 94-98 cars and the 99-04s?

I'm doing a custom setup and the 99 axles would put me closer to where I need to be and I wouldn't have to use such a big spacer right now. But when I get new wheels I plan on using 94-98 axles to get a bigger lip on the wheels. But I don't want to have to buy brakes 2 times.

I tried searching, but couldn't find anything, I'm probably looking up the wrong things.

But basically will the cobra brakes work with both axles? If not what has to be changed?

the brakes will swap between all those years. a lot of guys upgrade their 94-98 gt brakes for cobras or 99-04 gt's.

How does that work though if the axles are .7" longer per side? I guess that I'm missing something

The brakes are completely independent of the axles/housing

I had 94-98 cobra brakes on my car as well as bullitt brakes/Mach 1 brakes. They are all interchangeable and independent of the axles
