Default I'm back

I broke the motor in 2005 and the car has been garaged since. I finally finished installing the engine i built in my 99 GT. I started it and it sounds good with open headers, i'll have the exhaust on and completed tomorrow. It feels real good to have my car back on the road again after 6 years.

Thanks.
It didn't go quite as well as i hoped. After i got the engine in i had a couple of issues. The car barely ran until i scanned and checked the codes, i replaced the mass air flow sensor and the throttle position sensor. Now it idles better and runs without stalling and is starting to smooth out.

I'm still having problems with the idle and stalling, it runs good for a few minutes and than back to stalling a couple a minutes. I down loaded a tune from JDM performance and it still stalls, and the right side header started glowing, so i shut it off and switched back to the stock settings. I have to get this thing on the dyno to check it.

Did you change out the IAC valve? It attaches to the front of your throttle body/plenum

I haven't change it yet. Could the IAC go bad and not set off a check engine code. I was wondering if was the IAC valve. I've had issues in the pass with the stock and changed the IAC and the car ran better. I'll probably change it now.
