Need Some Opinions
I figured I'd get some other opinion's on what I'm wanting to do come July near my birthday. I'll be turning 18 and I'm not worried about money too much, but I'd like to stay around 13k, just a bit to know so I can get some help.
So my plans... I'm going to graduate high school in May, giving me, hopefully a few grand at "graduation presents". My birthday is in July and hopefully I'll get a few hundred from that. I have a part time job while I'm in school and making pretty decent money. I have no other payments or things to spend my money on so I'm saving every penny.
I have a 2004 v6 with 113,5XX miles on it and it stock besides CAI, Mach 1 Chin Spoiler and Grille Delete, and tinted windows. I don' plan on doing anything else to it in the mean time, just keeping it clean and driving it. I want to sell it come summer time.
Now my decision comes to this, I can either buy a 02-04 GT with 60k or less miles, 03-04 Mach 1 with preferably less than 50-60k miles, or possibly a 03-04 Cobra with any amount of miles. I'd prefer any of my choices to pretty close to stock or completely stock.
What would you guys think considering my situation. Keep in mind I'm getting a loan to help me out a little considering I have no other payments. Just let me know what you think. Thanks.

I would spend the next upcoming months looking for good deals and just jump on them or they will be taken. I don't know how much the v6 mustangs go for but I guess you'll be able to get 4-5k out of yours with out a problem. So with that, you can get a termi for less than 20k with good miles if you keep searching.

Definitely wait and find an 03 Cobra.. Cant beat it.. You get the mach for 3k less about and still need to build your motor, and add Nitrous/ Blower to beat a lightly Modded Cobra..
You can prob find an 03 with low miles, TUne, and Exhaust/ Pulley in your price range(with selling your car)
Good Luck, Do it right the first time.

Probably the best advice so far......
But if you decide to get a car anyway, keep in mind that insurance is gonna take a nice jump over whatever you currently pay, so just something to keep in mind and research the premium differences between the Mach, Cobra and GT beforehand. I'd love to have an '03 Cobra, but the insurance cost over what I'm paying now for my GT would force me to live in the thing. And for the record, there's nothing wrong with a GT. Everybody with a 2V nutthugs the 4V cars for obvious good reason, but the majority of 2V owners still love and thoroughly enjoy their cars just the same.

no 4v for me 2v ftw lol
sure a 4v would be nice... but at what point would a 4v really be necessary? 1000hp?
an 03 cobra would probably be your best buy if you want the best looking best performing mustang of this body style - right out of the box no mods.
if you love modding cars, a GT is plenty good enough, and might suit your budget better.
