Let me ask you guys this: Are there any drawbacks by taking the isolators out? Increased noise, wear on other parts, etc?

Hpwrestler, the 1/2" drop in the front sounds perfect to me. If you got only maybe a 1/8" drop in the rear i might do that too then.

I dont think there are any drawbacks. I've been running my H&R's for approx 25k miles and am nothing but happy with them.

there is a chance of more noise and you will feel a more connected, firm ride as the isos give a softer barrier for the springs to meet the spring perches but it will be worth it.

I wrapped my spring ends in duct tape and greased the perches, but my springs still made noise... I'm glad i put the rear isos back in, but the fronts i'm glad i left out!

My advice would be to just take out the front... The rear gave me an unbearable squeak. or you can try adding like a small thin piece of a rubber hose and putting it in the rear to prevent squeaking... But it wasn't worth the drop in the rear for me IMO... The front was 100% worth it and there really wasn't any additional noise when compared to the rear.

Needless to say, i run isos out back on my new spring setup but not up front. No complaints

^I'd listen to ******** above me, his car has the absolute nicest drop out of any mustang I've ever seen in person....

On the contrary, I've never had a squeek from either the front or the backs without isos....

squeaking doesn't bother me, but I'm going to look into something "thinner" to replace the isos with though... the front isos are coming out regardless though, I need more drop
