dont go over 60 on a "dot" road and that will be your best bet for safety lol.
I hit a stationary vehicle doing 60mph head on with my 95 sixxer when I had it, girl was making an illegal turn and panicked and stopped dead when she saw me, I walked away lucky with only some cuts and bruises and a totalled car, no seatbelt either lol.

your car sounds and looks bad man, i'd go no lower than 4:30's, it's good to get through first gear, but you want to make it count as well. hope whatever you go with works out!
