and there fing idiots. anything over 1000hp needs an auto plain and simple. An auto shifts faster and more consistent and if u have 1000+ its obviously a 1/4 car and consistency is everything. u can dial your shift points in perfect for a turbo car also what alot of 1000+hp cars are running. and if u say ohh there's drivetrain loss; well on a 1000+hp car its really not going to matter much. so before you speak and have no clue what your talking about don't speak.

i bought it off a guy who had it in his cobra and went to an auto. only has 15,000 miles on it and 1000 after it was torn apart checked and a 26 spline input put in it. fastlane built my motor. i'm be making the 14 hour drive begining of april to have them tune my car for the turbo tho

Brad Brand runs a 5 speed and runs 7s. he is not an idiot. granted it's most likely a dog ring setup so you basically just bang the gears and only use the clutch for launching. the guy i personally know with 1800 hp and a 4 speed has a dog ring setup and all you do to change gears is pull the shifter back about an inch and slightly left for each gear.
