Thanks to everyone who have shared their responses to this thread, although I am little disappointed that it has gotten to this. Stereotypes aside I think everyone has their own thoughts as to what is "cool" or "not cool". So putting all that aside I think I am going to wait on it right now and hold onto the truck and just build the GT. Like some said then I have the best of both worlds. I was legitimately going to throw the truck up on ebay this weekend, but have decided to hold off. My daughter loves my truck and would be sad if I got rid of it.

i almost bought one when i got back from Iraq. it was a shame the car was ruined. someone thought an NA 305 could beat that turbo 231.

outdated? look at the dyno sheets, and a boss has better handleing than an stiffend IRS? not sure. My buddy just plowed his boss 302 2012 into a tree, cause he lost it in a corner. Would he have lost an IRS? Who knows? But I am getting the powertrain fox my 91 foxbody and he is getting a new BOSS. I loved his BOSS. But the aerodymanics are like pushing a box and I like my terminators, the boss clutch is alittle sissy on pedal stiffness, good habits die hard.

Well, since this has been revived... no question for me, I'd absolutely get the BOSS302. It is a well balanced all around car right out of the factory, but has a huge amount of power potential if you decide to FI in the future.

+1 on the revival lol, it is funny to see my old response. It's kinda funny that in almost 2 years I have changed my mind and would Ike to have a boss now. I love my B but the thought of having new amenities is appealing, and the creaks and rattles are starting to annoy me
