Yeah I'm wishing I would have done that in the first place. Advance Auto's was supposed to be refunded if I took it back, but the arms on it got all bent out of shape so I suppose that's out of the question now. We did finally get it out though with a combination of a die grinder and a couple chisels. So hopefully it's all downhill from here lol. Taking the flywheel in tomorrow to get resurfaced, so hopefully this week sees the clutch assembly installed and maybe tranny bolted up to double check measurements to get driveshaft shortened.

i broke an advance auto puller too with this. i used a dremel to get it out and chisel...what a pain. I am buying a promotion performance 3650 trans in the next month cant decide if i should get the removable bell housing for 500 more or the sfi one for 700 more

Hoping to have it all bolted up minus the driveshaft by this weekend. Might be a little bit ambitious considering I haven't touched it for two days now, but we'll see. Personally I'm thinking a cheaper option might have been better for me, but I just couldn't get myself to not just go with overkill the first time.

Yeah, I guess lesson learned. Use a good puller the first time, that advance auto one just wouldn't grip the bearing. Personally I wen't with the Quicktime steel one. Honestly I'm a noob on this stuff though, just learning as I go.

I've got another question though for anyone who knows. Do I really need to wait and measure out the length for the driveshaft in order to get it cut? Or can I just look up the length of an 03/04 cobra's driveshaft and have it cut to that?

If I ever have to do this again, a slide hammer is going to be the first thing I try. Breaking pullers and chiseling it out just didn't even seem worth it

Not sure about the driveshaft but a couple of the kits I seen while browsing were complete conversion kits and they included a driveshaft. So I am guessing you should be able to look up the length somewhere, but i am only guessing.
