i heard the nt05r's have HORRIBLE tire wear. I just recently bought a set of 275/40/17 555r's from discount tire direct for 318 shipped. I know that's not what you're looking for but the seller is great and the tires showed up 2 days after i bought them.

but for what you're looking at consider the bfg kdw2's as well. I heard they are better than the normal 555's in dry/wet handling and in mileage. Not sure if they cost any more than the 555's tho.

Thanks Evan! I'll be in touch.

I'm not too sure about the NT05's. From what I have read, the performance is only slightly better than the 555's, but the life from the 555's is much more.

@ctgreddy I have thought about the KDW2's. I couldnt find my rear size with them, so, unfortunately no on the BFG's. I've definitely decided Nitto's.

@turbo How aggressively do you drive? How much tread is left on them?

I ran the NT05's on my car last year in 295 35 18 and they were awesome. Dry and wet traction were great and they were quiet as hell in the process! And this was all with 4.10's. If I were to have not done burnouts and stuff, they probably would have lasted me between 10-12k miles. My NT555's lasted almost 20k miles, but had far less grip. KDW2's suck in my book. Noisy, and they dont hook that well. I'd pick the 555's all day over KDW2's.
