well, its getting cold outside again...****in reached down to the 40s the other day. almost can't wait for the snowy stuff............................almost i don't have a twitter account nor have i ever been to a twitter web page (update: i have), but if i ever did decide to take the plunge i will let you know by posting it in this awesome little box of text (update: not really)! i like tacos lol...though between crunchy tacos and soft tacos i cannot really say which one is better. sometimes, the mess a crunchy taco leaves behind is a little annoying while the soft taco just doesn't have the same taste... cake is so much better than pie no, srsly. **** pie. ****ing

A big part of the reason I spend the extra money for the Banks stuff on my Cummins. Even running an added 120 HP, my Cummins hardly smokes at at all, less than stock and while it can look bad, the average amount of smoke that leaves a stock diesel is actually not as bad for the environment as a rich running gas engine. You just can't see the damage from the gasser.

That said, there are some setups that ate all about making enormous amounts of power with no consideration to the smoke. Banks engineering is quoted as saying it is a waste and sign of inefficiency.

I run 4.56 gears with 37" tires on my turbo diesel and it will give just about anything a run for the money. My first tundra was a Bully dog, that had a program available called "crazy Larry". Not only did it smoke beyond levels I could imagine, but it also ran way too hot with EGT numbers that scared the hell out of me. At 5 years old, my diesel had to under go an opacity test in which the acceptable limit was 30 percent. With 0 emissions equipment, on the 60hp setting, I registered 2% opacity. Banks must be doing something right.

Banks is doing it right. they have been for like 40 years or something. but if you want to see something really impressive check out the power the new Cat engines are making without smoke. the new rig engine makes 800 hp at like 2000 rpms on fairly low boost with about 2500 ft-lbs.

No one ever wants to play with me....maybe it's the area I live in (northern KY).

Like it was said erlier, I see more kids being punks in POS civics etc and acting tough when me fance and I are out in her car...I immediatly think "damn if only we were in the Mach"

I generally don't street race. In fact I have never been in a proper three honk street race. It's usually someone pisses me off and I drop to 4th and cut off at 100 ish or some punk kid flys by me so I catch him.

MOST of the time I'm cruising around LOOKING for someone to aknowledge their car or give a wave. Now the nice weather is coming, there will prob be more.

I never look to street race any one. However, I seem to get challenged more and more as I spend more time in the modular.

It must be like the bar to be set or a trophy victory to be the modular Stanford. I have never had more ricers pull along side me, rev their engines and bait me into racing. Typically, I will ride along side them in first gear, revving very high then shift into second and let them hear the chirping. They always back off.

These cars are total rice eaters and the Subaru/Honda guts know it.
