First off, Soldier, every time I see your car on here I get very jealous lol. And to the thread, this year so far has been the first time I've had people trying to race me. And I always have my wife with me and she hates racing so I just pass on it. But I've had a bone stock 06 mustang gt follow me out of town like 5 miles to pull up beside me and give me me the nod for me to shake my head at him and say no. An 04 mach wanted to toy with me, and I'm not dumb enough to even bark up that tree with my basically stock 4.6 lol. Lastly, Diesels... Their always reving at me and showing me they can lay down some coal. Wow cool right? If i'm at the strip, I'll race anyone cuz i dont care if I win or lose. On the street, I really dont even think about racing. There are too many uncontrolled variable, Like where the cop will be watching from lol.

I get the occasional retard thinking they're cool because they got a fart can. And i'll tell you, it is something about mustangs. We are bench marks for people honestly. Apparently we are to ricers as LSx cars are to us. If we beat one, we feel as if we have accomplished something and its something to brag about.

OP Sell your car and buy a 1995 convertible Sebring or stop whining. You sound like old boring 2010 Camaro SS owners. I had some ******* in a Scion TC revving at me and **** at a busy stoplight. Even though he was sitting right next to me for a while at the light and if he had half a brain could see my boost gauge. Dumbasses will manage to be dumb.

Often times it has to do with the aggressiveness in which you drive. My exhaust is pretty loud and I have 4.10's so theres two reasons I shift at 2k rpm. I do 60 on the highway. I'm usually the slowest guy around. I pretty much drive like gramps 90% of the time.
I have however had worthy opponents on the road wanna toy around. I'll only bite if I think I'll lose! Hah I usually surprise myself. SRT8's are worthy adversaries but they feel the snake bite. I had a new (looking) Lexus ISF wanna play one time. I literally blew his doors off from a light getting on the highway. They we tried from a highway speed and he ate my car up!!! hahaha Fun times.
