Default thinking about painting wheels

for you guys that painted your wheels, i need a little advice. i've done a little research but everybody claims to have to best, longest lasting paint. i was wondering what process you took, what brand paints you used and did it last?
i took the wheels to be sand blasted today to remove the old chrome that was flaking. i plan on starting with bare aluminum. any help will be great
thanks in advance

i agree with you there. you can literally hit it with a hammer and not hurt it.
i had this frame powder coated over 8 years ago. its been through 3 motors but the powder coat still looks great!
