As sad as it is, I'm in a debate with several family members and co-workers. I'm going to take my car down the strip this Friday. (finally!!!) But what will a bone stock GT run? I see people with 5 speeds with intake and exhaust running mid 13s. I think I can brake below a 14. The strip is 1470ft, temp will be in the 70s. Running a 245 street tire. Whats your opinion?

I'm very confident in my shifting, and i can launch fast with low tire slip on the streets, but launching will be a totally different game on the strip.

If it's your first time you'll run slower than you think you should. Bone stock, no suspension and a street tire I'm guessing mid 14s.

Lots of variables in a pass at the track...
I'd guess around a 14.25@98.5mph.
Just have some fun with it and don't sweat the times too much if they are a little slower than you are hoping for.
Let us know how it goes.
GOOD LUCK!!!

Thanks, Its for fun, and for a baseline before I start modding it. But I just hope to see a 13.99 if I'm close ill try for a few weeks and see if I can get it, but if I'm 2+ seconds away ill go spend some money and do it the fun way.
