Default Post your AGGRESSIVE STANCE and RAKED new edge stang PICS!!!

I want a mean aggressive stance on my 2001 GT convertible.

I've seen suggestions of simply lowering the front and others of getting bigger wheels in the back.

What I need now is PICS!!!

Please post pics of your raked mustangs, lowered fronts, staggered setups with 17's in front and 18's in back or 18's in front 19's in back....whatever!

I need to see some pics of aggressive stance mustangs that will help me find that look I want. I want my car's stance to be very noticeable and much different than stock. I know you can end up looking like a hot wheels drag car...but that's close to what I'm going for. Well, a modest version of that

Huh--so handling and traction are of secondary concern to appearance?

Cliffy- Well...safety is first. Traction is of concern for take offs, but I like a little twist action on the corners. I just want it to look awesome, but at the same time be safe and I don't want to do something that will cause problems.

That's why I'm here! You guys have the best suggestions for appearance that don't compromise safety and handling.

What I need is pictures and along with them advice and warnings. I've read about guys who did this or that and had a sweet look to their car, but wished later on they had done something different because of the problems it caused.

Does that clear that up?

he he.... I win

You won't get this look without LOTS of suspension work, but a set of 9"s & 10"s are easily done. With a set of nice lowering springs/shocks/struts, your car will look/handle great and will be safe. Although, not soo safe from pot-holes and speed bumps

take that expensive crap outta here jazzer....no one wants to see your ultra expensive tires...(so jelious) my T1Rs are bald and sexy....and not even on the car at the moment...lol look at my pic to get an idea. I got 1.5 or 1.6 in the back 2.1 in the front, 18x9 w/ 275s on the from 18x10 w/295 in the back. way more affordable than jazzers set up. But...wont handle as well.

Honestly though my set up works great, i havnt had any issues with handling, but then again im a bit scared to try and throw this car in a corner.
Also this is very low...my exhaust rubs on a lot of stuff, pot holes suck, and it cost me my first deep sump oil pan. good thing im a welder fabricator, cuz i had to shave a 1/2 from the pan so i wouldnt keep knocking holes in it. that stupid pot hole cost me 60 bucks in oil all over the road and drive way and garage...

I like the bigger wheels in the back. It gives it a sweet look from the side. Together with some 305's in the rear would look awesome.

Ugh, I just looked on American Muscle...and they're $300! And I can get 17" 315's for $140-$200.

With either staggered setup I won't be able to rotate tires back to front anymore. It's expensive to be bad a$$.

Decisions decisions.
