Procharger or Vortech?

Go bigger on the blower. P1 and V2's are only gonna make up to about 550-600rwhp and that will be over spinning the blower pretty good. I'd go with a t-trim or d1 or novi2000 for your goals with room to grow.

V2 is fine if you want to run slightly above 400 RW?
I guess I understand the supercharger series as far as the v-2, 3, 4, but I'm still in a way confused about the trim.

I personally have been running a Vortech for over 5 years with no problems, and I have over 6-7 friends with them and love them
My cousin has a P1SC on his Bullit and his seals have gone on him twice...
Like said, you will read good on both, but from my personal experience Vortech is the way to go

I run around with a lot of guys who race fox bodies and most run Turbo or Procharger on 1,200-1,500hp engines. Street applications they are pretty much a toss up as people have said. Procharger is more expensive but more efficient, and the self contained feature is very nice as well as air-air intercooler. I also agree with the above, if you want to start at 600 rwhp go with at least the D1SC.

I like the engineering of a Vortech...I wonder why you can't run/buy a procharger without an intercooler??? hmmmmm
Notice guys running Vortechs without i/cs and the results...now slap an i/c on there and you have a blower setup just as/if not more efficient than that prochargers
btw, vortech offers self contained as well...dont know why people are so negative about tapping the oil pan anyway? Me personally, I would rather only change the oil once anyway

I have a 2000 mustang gt with a Paxton Novi 2000... it was installed in 2002 and has been running strong ever since and to this day still puts out the same boost as when it was brand new. Not bad to be almost 10 years old. Ive read on several tech articles that Paxton makes the best quality centrifugals out of the best parts. If you want to go the cheaper route get the on3performance turbo kit for $1,815.00 and of course ur MAF, Plugs, Fuel Pump, and injectors. here is their site www.on3performance.com http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k16d1...er_profilepage
