Default Disposal of oil cantainers

Where do you guys dispose of your oil containers?

I was trying clean up the garage a little bit so I can actually get to my car. I realized I have about 15 5qt empty containers that had oil in them at one point (they still have a small amount of oil in them). I tried taking them a local recycle center and they told me I'd have to take them up to Harrisburg (about a 35 minute drive away). There has to be a better way to get rid of them. What do you guys do with them? Thanks.

Save them and put your used oil in them and return them to Autozone.
Or tip them up side down and let oil drain into 1 of the jugs then throw them in trash, at least most of the oil will be out and may end up with a 1\4 of a quart for DD.

Just my 2

That has been done. That's why they're empty now...

Looks like they're gonna be put out with the trash. Earth is effed.

Thanks.

They probably throw them in the trash at autozone anyway after they empty them. So either way its not changing anything.

Haha, I would, but I live in one of the few neighborhoods in pennsyltucky. I don't see the neighbors liking that much.
