Okay folks, where is it ? what does it look like ? and since it is discontinued where do i get one? Other ideas on how to fix this ?

The GEM module (a black plastic looking box) is located under the drivers side dash beside the fuse block. Not sure where to get one either, other than possibly a junk yard. I need one as well, so if you find somewhere that has them please let me know. Good luck!

actually dealers have to be able to get parts for cars up to 15 years old. i know sometimes my math is wrong but an 01 isnt older than that.
