Are they linear or progressive rate springs? I was going to do this a while back (did tons of research and whatnot) but decided to buy the right springs instead.

03GreyGT runs cut Mach Juan springs on his car, I'm pretty sure he runs them on the rear too. And I think he's running a 12.4 w/ TFS heads and cams at around 116mph. Those springs seem to do well for him. I can't imagine isos are needed, I never ran them on my H&R's so screw it I think you'll be fine without them. HPWrestler is the spring cutting God so he'll be able to tell you a little more in depth about how to and where to cut them. Pretty sure they should be cut from the top.

I'm running cut c-springs. You will need to cut from the top. As for how much, just experiment a little at a time.

I cut mine from the bottom. Not sure if the Mach 1 springs are similar, but you want to cut which ever end is not flat. The flat part is usually up top and you DO NOT want to cut from that end.

2k1gt.

I run Csprings in my 99 GT and I like them.but I must say the back kinda rakes.
Did you cut just the back or did you cut both front and back ?
I here alot of people cutting 1 coil off the backs.

Your GT seems to sit much lower than mine,I do have all ISO in ,wanted to avoid creaking.

My GT

@OP Sorry SVT didnt mean to HJ your thread in anyway but the C springs are pretty good if you want a stiffer ride with a nice drop
