Default Tune or Speed-cal?

I have 3.73 gears in my car.. can i fix the speedometer with a tune or do i have to get a speed-cal? its a 1997 ford mustang gt. i know for the 99 and up you can tune it but idk for the 96-98?

You will need a speedcal. 99+ models can fix the speedo with a handheld tuner. Anything older than that will need a speedcal. Not too hard to install either, I have one.

do you have the ford racing one? because ive been asking around and one guy said the speedometer jumps around a little bit? or did he just install it wrong or something?

Ordered mine from americanmuscle.com and it works like a charm.
